What’re New in XII Malaysian General Elections?

Starting this election, there are going to be some changes in our election system in Malaysia. 1st, the introduction of transparent ballot boxes, replacing traditional black ones which were used by the Election Comission of Malaysia [SPR] for over a half century. Another change is the introduction of the “indelible ink”. How does it work? Simply put our index finger into the bottle filled with that ink. Once we immerse our finger, we can’t vote twice or more.

      So, those above were what we’ll expect from this election. PLEASE VOTE WISELY. Our votes will determine our country’s future.

UPDATE! : EC [SPR] has abolished the so-called indelible ink. It said:

“We shall [NOT We will] dispose of the ink (which cost RM2.4m) through barter….
